Earthquake Turkey and Syria, the death toll over 7,200

(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, FEBRUARY 07 - The death toll from the violent earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria has risen to over 7,266.

This is shown by official data, while rescuers are still looking for trapped survivors.

Officials and doctors said 5,434 people had died in Turkey and 1,832 in Syria, bringing the death toll to more than 7,200.
