If drinking glasses are nevertheless thrown into the used glass container, this can result in problems with recycling and the production of new packaging glasses.
Shards should be thrown in the household rubbish anyway.

Mirror
Lightbulbs, car lamps, fluorescent tubes

Ceramic hobs or glass hotplates

Even crockery made of porcelain or earthenware has no place in used glass.
Dispose of small amounts in the residual waste, larger amounts at the recycling center.

Incidentally, waste glass may only be thrown in at the collection points at certain times – there is even a risk of a fine on Sundays.
