Thousands of people attended the funeral of Pakistan's controversial former president, General Pervez Musharraf, who died last Sunday in Dubai after a long illness.
The funeral was held at the military compound in Karachi.
The BBC writes it.
Many political figures are absent, such as the army chief and the current president of Pakistan.
Musharraf's body was then taken to a nearby military cemetery where the coffin, draped in the national flag, was buried.
In a statement, the Pakistani army expressed its "heartfelt condolences", while President Arif Alvi prayed "for the eternal repose of the deceased soul".
