(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, FEBRUARY 07 - The United States has announced the sale to Poland of 18 Himars systems for 10 billion dollars.
This was reported by a statement from the Biden administration, confirming the advances of the media.
"The sale", reads a note from the US Defense Cooperation Agency, "will help Poland achieve its goal of improving its military capabilities and will further increase cooperation between the United States and their allies".
Previously, the Bloomberg agency had anticipated the news, quoting some sources, according to which the sale is aimed at strengthening NATO's capabilities in countries such as Poland to defend themselves against potential aggression by Russia.
