According to the police, a fire on the premises of a car supplier in Allmendingen in the Alb-Donau district caused damage estimated at more than 200 million euros.

The extinguishing work lasted according to the information until Tuesday afternoon.
A structural engineer has been requested to check whether the building can be entered.
