(ANSA) - LONDON, FEBRUARY 08 - President Volodymyr Zelensky's arrival in the United Kingdom today, on his first trip to Europe since the start of the war almost a year ago, is "a testament to Ukraine's courage, determination and struggle" against the Russian invasion, as well as the "unbreakable friendship between our two countries".
This was stated by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, saying he was "proud" of the announcement of the expansion of Kiev's "vital" military training programs that the Kingdom "has guaranteed since 2014" and of the formalization today of new British sanctions against Moscow and the inner circle "by (Vladimir) Putin".
