The controversial Giant band member, who was recently attacked by his colleagues in the legendary group, embarks on a new artistic journey, believing that he is the person behind all the success

Against the background of the criticism against him and the recent attack he suffered from the members of the band, among other things due to his anti-Semitic statements, Roger Waters, it seems, recorded himself a new version of "The Dark Side of the Moon", Pink Floyd's masterpiece album that was first released in 1973.

As we know, Waters was one of the founders of the legendary British progressive rock band in 1965, and was the bassist, one of the vocalists and the driving creative force in its great years, until he left it in harsh tones in 1985, due to artistic and personal disagreements with the other members - led by guitarist and vocalist David Gilmour.

In the many years that have passed since then, Waters (79) has been in persistent legal battles with his former colleagues over the rights to use the name "Pink Floyd" and the music he created for it, but so far he has lost his battles.

Also, the musician often speaks out against the State of Israel and its attitude towards the Palestinians, and this leads us to the latest development related to the talented but controversial artist.

In an interview he recently gave to the German newspaper "Berliner Zeitung" in which he again explained his anti-Semitic doctrine - an interview that was translated into English and published on his official website - Waters announced that his new solo version of the band's iconic album will be released in May.

The move, if it turns out to be true, is somewhat reminiscent of the steps taken by Taylor Swift and Prince, who re-recorded their music as part of their struggles against the record companies, in order to get back the rights to those works.

Sadly @rogerwaters you are antisemitic to your rotten core.

Also a Putin apologist and a lying, thieving, hypocritical, tax-avoiding, lip-synching, misogynistic, sick-with-envy, megalomaniac.

Enough of your nonsense.

In an interview with the German newspaper, Waters said that "the new concept (of the album) should reflect the meaning of my work and reveal the heart and soul of the album - in the musical sense and in the spiritual sense."

He even added, in a direct jab at Gilmour, that "I'm the only one singing my songs on these new recordings, and there are no rock guitar solos."

"The Dark Side of the Moon", a concept album considered one of the best of all time and a milestone in the history of rock, is Pink Floyd's eighth studio album.

The work produced, among others, the well-known songs "Money", "Us and Them" and "Time", and is considered Pink Floyd's most successful project with sales of approximately 45 million copies worldwide.
