The rains recorded this Wednesday in different parts of the City of Buenos Aires and the suburbs
did not bring the expected relief
and another day of sweltering heat is expected this Thursday.
As specified by the National Meteorological Service, the orange alert for
extreme heat
is still in force and for this day it is expected that the maximum will be close to 35 degrees.
For the remainder of the day, somewhat to partly cloudy skies are expected, winds from the north sector rotating northeast towards night and a temperature that remains high, with a minimum of 21 degrees and a maximum of 34 degrees.
What does the orange alert mean?
Basically, dangerous weather phenomena are expected for society, life, property and the environment.
This level of warning for extreme temperatures indicates that the maximum marks expected for the day can have a
moderate to high effect on the health of the population,
but can be very dangerous, especially for risk groups, according to the SMN.
For this Friday, the meteorological agency forecasts a day with partially cloudy skies, with winds from the northeast sector and a temperature that will be between 25 degrees minimum and
36 degrees maximum.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies are forecast for Saturday, wind from the north sector and a temperature that will remain at a minimum of 25 degrees and a maximum of 36 degrees.
