Former Bleus captain Patrice Evra was sentenced to pay a fine of 1,000 euros for homophobic abuse against Paris Saint-Germain in 2019. The ex-Juve defender, now 41, was also sentenced to pay 1,500 euros in damages to the two associations which joined as plaintiffs, Mousse and Stop Homophobie and another 1,000 euros to each of them for legal expenses.
In a video released on social networks in March 2019, after Manchester United's Champion's League victory over PSG, the former defender and captain of the English club had said: "Paris, you are fags, you are fags... Here, they are the talking men".
Mousse and Stop Homophobie, backed by anti-homophobic collective Rouge Direct, have filed a complaint for "
