A little boy in Scotland receives a special police honor for making a life-saving call at the age of two.

Little Hanlon Stevenson received an award for bravery and excellence during a ceremony at Police Headquarters in Tulliallan, Scotland.

Stevenson - just two years old at the time of the incident in 2019 - had called the 999 emergency number and said, "Mom's asleep and I can't wake her up." Rescue workers rushed to the rescue, finding the little boy's mother unconscious but breathing , and helped her.

"Hanlon's courage and ability to call 911 at the age of two is extremely commendable," the police said in a statement.

Hanlo's mother told the local Shropshire Star newspaper that the boy had small toys that said 999 for ambulance or police emergency services.

"He's a fast learner and I think he got the number."
