This spot was designed to be broadcast during the Super Bowl, the high mass of American football which will be held this Sunday, February 12.
The 68-year-old actor is reprising his hit

, alongside

series duo Zach Braff and Donald Faison.

We can thus see him wearing an outfit similar to that of his character of Danny Zuko, the leader of the T-Birds at Rydell High School in the 1978 film, then singing his song and dancing as he did alongside Olivia Newton John, who played Australian student Sandy Olsson.
In the new spot, the lyrics have been changed to praise the services of the phone provider.
Travolta says "I can't believe it, it's only 50 dollars".
To which Faison replies: “Why pay more?”.
Then Braff: “Paying more sucks!”.
The commercial concludes with a reference to another cult film by Travolta,
Saturday Night Fever
, one of whose choreographies he reproduces, pointing the finger skyward.
Even if it does not make any direct allusion to Olivia Newton-John, this cover is nevertheless intended to be a tribute to the actress who died last August, at the age of 73, following cancer.
Following his death, Travolta took to social media to honor his longtime friend.
"My dear Olivia, you have made our lives so much better," he wrote on Instagram.
“You had an incredible impact.
I love you so much.
We will meet again along the road, and we will be together again.
Faithful, from the day I first saw you and forever."
