(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, FEBRUARY 10 - The Belgian federal police searched the residence of Andrea Cozzolino in the Ixelles district of Brussels.
This was announced by the Belgian federal prosecutor, indicating that the Italian MEP, suspected of being involved in Qatargate, was absent.
In recent days Cozzolino was in his house in Naples.
The federal prosecutor's office reports that it is ready to summon him: an order from the Belgian investigating judge Michael Claise - in the form of a summons or a European arrest warrant - could leave in the next few hours.
