(ANSA) - MADRID, FEBRUARY 10 - Members of the Spanish Emergency Military Unit pulled a boy and a girl alive today in Turkey from the rubble of the earthquake that struck parts of Turkey and Syria: the Spanish Ministry of Defense reported, which published on social networks a video of the moment of the rescue.
According to the EuropaPress news agency, the rescue operation took place in the Turkish resort of Nurdagi.
Shortly afterwards, the mother of the two children was also extracted still alive: the Spanish Ministry of Defense reported it in a tweet.
The post is accompanied by a video of the moment, in which the woman can be glimpsed as she is carried away on a stretcher to applause.
