- Does Britney Spears still have the full support of her fans?

Jordan Miller.

-

In general, Britney still enjoys the support of her fans.

I would nevertheless distinguish two categories: on the one hand, a small group with very energetic involvement which tends to fall into conspiratorial faults.

They are the ones who say to him, for example, “wear yellow if you need help”, or that sort of thing.

They are also the ones that make the most noise and attract attention.

On the other, there's a majority of people who watch it with a distance and send lots of love and support.

His Instagram account is really the only communication portal we have, and it's a one-way street, since we can't comment anymore.

Britney Spears is the subject of many relatively negative comments on social networks.

Do you understand the reaction of the general public?

The only source we have of Britney - and it has its limits - are her Instagram videos and the captions that go with them... And because she tends to write in a way we're not used to, often by metaphors or allegories, we do not necessarily understand what she is trying to say.

So people project all sorts of ideas onto her, including that she needs help.

I find it unfair that people are sitting quietly in their living rooms diagnosing a woman who has been through an immense amount of trauma.

I try not to attach a label to her, precisely because one of the aspects of her guardianship was to impose a way of being on her, to force her to do certain things.

Now a lot of these constraints have been lifted, at least in appearance, and we have before us a raw and authentic version of who the real Britney is, more than ever.

And that necessarily goes with his lot of opinions…

Britney Spears will always be talked about, no matter what she does

Jordan Miller

Some go so far as to question the relevance of the #freebritney movement.

Do you think she should stay "free"?

Of course.

There is no other solution, except to have a prisoner.

People find it hard to understand what she's going through because it's a rare situation: extreme fame is one thing, but you also have a family in disarray which complicates her position, and a a legal situation that literally stripped her of her rights;

rights that she could not have recovered without the intervention of the #freebritney movement which finally allowed her to have the lawyer of her choice.

It took a lot of hardships to regain that freedom.

Now we have to give him time.

The public wants to impose their way of being and behaving

Jordan Miller

Why does her nudity bother so many people?

It's first because her photos are not pro, they are taken with the iPhone in "random places" as she seems to indicate, a hotel room or in the hall of her house... Whereas most of the time, naked photos of celebrities are worked, taken by a professional, they are made up, touched up, it is in any case much more neat.

So it's confusing for the public to see this aspect of an extremely famous person, who has been very good at acting like a polished popstar before.

Often, in the captions of her posts, she talks about regaining control, or she comments on a traumatic thing she has experienced in the past.

It disturbs a lot of people.

They imagine a woman who is not well,

Don't you think she could be dangerous to herself?

She recently put a lighter under her tongue...

Singer Tinashe had published the same photo in a magazine a few years ago, she was holding a lighter to her tongue, and no one thought she was dangerous , but rather that it was a cool photo.

But when Britney does something, it's lived so intensely.

I see no signs that she is a danger to herself.

When she deactivates her Instagram account, you can deduce a million potential reasons.

It could very well be that she wants to protect herself, not put herself in dangerous situations where people constantly criticize her by judging her that way.

Do you think she is happy with her husband Sam Asghari?

(Laughs)

I imagine anyone who gets married is still happy and in love a year later.

I know people read between the lines in some of her captions, and maybe she is indeed talking about her husband (

one of her captions would indeed suggest, according to some fans, that she hated his marriage NDLR

).

She's not explicitly clear on the subject, and even if she is, couples all have their phases.

Honestly, I do not know.

Who can know?

Do you think Britney Spears is a scapegoat, a catalyst for the ills of the music industry?

The industry has smeared it, that's for sure.

She's been abused, and I'm not surprised when she says she never wants to be in the industry again.

There are so many factors to consider, many rich people, with power, with influence, who maintained the terms of her guardianship and held the illusion that she approved of this situation.

It wasn't just the justice system or the entertainment industry.

It was a perfect combination so that everyone looked the other way, that no one really took responsibility for it, and we made sure that the general opinion was this: "There must be something going on backstage for a court to place her under guardianship, we don't have all the answers,

his family would never do that, etc, etc…”.

It took so many years for things to change.

So is Britney a scapegoat?

Britney herself wouldn't want to be seen as such, and I try to view some of the questions being asked about her through that prism now.

There was no real justice for Britney Spears

Jordan Miller

Will she definitely retire from the music world?

I hope she takes advantage of her freedom to live in the moment and not think so much about the future.

For the moment, I don't think of a future tour or potential comeback.

Would I like Britney to release a new song and go on tour again?

Yes of course.

If that's her decision, if that's what she wants to do, that she controls how things go and what songs she records, the tour setlist and the interviews she can or no give, absolutely.

But if it's not his decision, there's no point, because we've been down this road before and it has proven destructive.

You created the hashtag #freebritney in 2009. What do you think is the future of the Free Britney movement?

#freebritney served its purpose.

The goal was to free Britney from the constraints of guardianship, that is what is done.

Now there's a new hashtag, #justiceforbritney, which will continue to gain momentum because there's been no real justice for Britney Spears, other than being released from her guardianship, which is good. sure a big problem.

There are key players in this situation who have done very well, his family, his father Jamie Spears, the businesswoman Lou Taylor, his lawyer Samuel Ingham, or the judge Reva Goetz to name a few. .. The #freebritney hashtag is now part of another movement.
