New setback for the defense of footballer Dani Alves, in pretrial detention since January 20 for allegedly raping a 23-year-old girl in a bathroom at the Sutton nightclub, in the center of Barcelona, during the early hours of December 31 .
The former FC Barcelona player assured the judge on the day of his arrest that the victim performed fellatio on him, but the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences has found remains belonging to the player in the intravaginal samples, as

DNA tests have confirmed that Alves lied in his third version of the event.
That same night, the young woman went to the Hospital Clínic and they performed a forensic examination that collected intravaginal biological samples, where there were traces of semen.
Alves, for her part, delivered a sample of her genetic material after her judicial declaration, before entering pretrial detention.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have obtained semen samples from three other locations: the bathroom floor, the underwear and the dress the young woman was wearing the night of the alleged sexual assault.
They all match Alves' DNA.
The judge who ordered provisional detention for the Brazilian athlete considers that he changed his version "up to three times": first he denied that there had been any sexual encounter to end up defending that she had performed fellatio on him.
The defense admits that it was an "erratic" statement, but justifies it by the fact that he did not want his wife and his children to know that he had had sexual relations with another woman.
His lawyer appealed to the Barcelona Court against the order of the investigating judge to send him to pretrial detention, while the Prosecutor's Office has opposed the Barcelona Court to release Alves on provisional release, considering that the risk of flight persists and that the indications that weigh on him remain.
The Brazilian soccer player remains in a module for sexual offenders in the Brians 2 prison, in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, some 40 kilometers from Barcelona.
