Domestic and wild bees are responsible for about 70% of the pollination of all living plant species on the planet and guarantee about 35% of global food production.

A job - highlights Campagna Amica Sardegna - which generates an economic value estimated at around 153 billion euros a year on a global scale, 22 billion on a European scale and 3 billion on a national scale, according to Coldiretti estimates.
