VENICE - The Arsenale of Venice was transformed tonight into an open-air theater for "Original Signs", the dance, music and show on the water that marked the beginning of Carnival 2023. A live performance of music, dance and special effects, signed by the artistic director of the Carnival Massimo Checchetto together with the direction of Enrica Crivellaro.
The exhibition of about thirty performers recounted the journey of man's continuous communicative research, from its origins to the present day.
The artists, each with their own language, paraded aboard boats that became floating stages, which lit up the night in the ancient ship 'factory' of the Serenissima.
The Arsenale as a stage, for a journey of exploration into the movements,
in the bodies, in the ancestral signs of nature.
