The judge did not "open the trial" after the presentation of habeas corpus made by the lawyers for the young women. Entry into the country is dated February 11.

The six pregnant Russian women who between Wednesday and Thursday arrived on three different flights at the Ezeiza airport finally entered the country together at 1:30 in the morning this Saturday.

The situation was unblocked after a request for habeas corpus presented by the lawyer of one of them, the one who arrived first, to which two more were later added, and finally three others, represented by another lawyer.

They all went to different homes of acquaintances or friends, in some cases of compatriots who came to offer them help when they warned that they were not being allowed to enter the country.

Even when they were in the "sterile zone" of the airport, a Migration sector for passengers in transit, only one required a doctor's attention, but due to a peak of stress.

The release of the detained Russians was ordered by the federal judge of Quilmes, Luis Armella,

who subrogates the court of Lomas de Zamora, in charge of Federico Villena.

The hearing was held in an airport room, almost in express mode, which lasted three and a half hours and was carried out via Zoom.

In fact, Migration personnel brought a cell phone to the six women so that they could follow her in virtual mode.

The federal prosecutor of Lomas de Zamora, Cecilia Incardona, and a translator approached by the Argentine State were also present.

Three of the girls were represented by the lawyer Christian Rubilar, while the others had the legal support of Liliana Borysiuk.

In the resolution, the judge ordered that they undergo a medical examination, be provided with "adequate" accommodation and care.

But they are not in hotels.

"They became friends, they spent three days there, together.

None was hospitalized, nothing like that happened. They are between 23 and 28 years old, approximately.

They stayed together. They were well cared for, without problems. In fact, one of them traveled with a puppy, and the consul brought him pet food," Borysiuk told

this Saturday .

The problem with the six Russian girls, according to Migration, was that they did not give accurate information about the purpose of their trip and that they stated that they arrived as tourists but could not verify accommodation or a tourist destination within the country.

This type of situation is called "false tourism".

"Migrations questioned something atypical, several Russian citizens had arrived, there were other pregnant women, but

they were being pushed aside because they came alone, unaccompanied, they were also asked questions without a translator and without the presence of Migrations people...

They were accused of not having clarified precisely the reason for the trip, but at the same time other pregnant women also entered, although with a partner," denounces Borysiuk.

Ana, Emilia and Natalia are the names of the young women that Borysiuk represented.

From Russia, the lawyer received a couple of calls this Friday, while the situation of the pregnant girls was resolved.

They were relatives of other young women who were already traveling.

The lawyer stayed waiting for another flight (from Turkish Airlines) coming from the Soviet country, but no passenger was retained.

Regarding the investigation by the Federal Police that this Saturday broke up a gang in Puerto Madero that brought pregnant Russian women to have their children in the country and charged them up to US$35,000, the lawyer assured that her clients had nothing to do with some kind of similar organization.

"With this case of the girls and that police issue, what was done was to mix everything up,

I am not aware at all that this type of organization had to do with the girls that I represent.

No one approached me with any type of query regarding those kinds of gangs," Borysiuk said.

According to the investigators, the gang detected after raids on two luxury apartments in Puerto Madero offered to get them a sanatorium for childbirth and trout documentation to obtain Argentine citizenship in record time.

"Having an Argentine baby, the process of obtaining an Argentine residence is much easier," the lawyer closes.
