Art Capital returns to the Grand Palais Éphémère in mid-February

The objective of the event is to highlight current art trends while remaining faithful to its commitment: to promote living contemporary artists.


They will be some two thousand artists, painters, sculptors, engravers, photographers, gathered at the Grand Palais Éphémère during Art Capital, an event which will therefore be held in Paris, opposite the Eiffel Tower, from February 15 to 19, 2023.

The objective of this event is to highlight trends in current art, in all its forms, while remaining faithful to its commitment: to promote living contemporary artists.

Visitors will be able to admire the works of Michèle Battut, Daniel Bergez, Guy Braun, Sylvie Demay, Mireille Godbille, Dan Jacobson, Annie Joly-Monthé, Diane Latrille, Hervé Loilier, Marie-Madeleine Martinet, Anne Millot, Christophe Moreau, William Noblet, Nathalie Picoulet, Véronique Piquot, Victor Soren, Bernardino Toppi, Françoise Vallée Tuset, Thomas Waroquier…

Since its creation in 2006, Art Capital has brought together four historic art fairs: The Salon Comparaisons, the Salon Drawing & Water-based Painting, the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon des Artistes Français.

The latter is also celebrating its 233rd edition in February!

For the anecdote, he is the heir of the Salon, with a capital S, history created by the will of Louis XIV.

Because in 1667, according to the wishes of the Sun King, the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture organized an exhibition of its members at the Louvre.

He therefore attracted the most subtle and refined minds of his time.

Enki Bilal headlining

On the Art Capital program this year, works specially created for the occasion and distinguished guests: a delegation of Polish artists (at Les Artistes Français) or Enki Bilal (at Dessin & Peinture à l'eau).

All in a friendly atmosphere where the artists get caught up in the game of mediation for the general public.


By welcoming 40,000 visitors each year, ART CAPITAL has established itself on the French art scene as a major event and remains the largest gathering of artists in France.

Wednesday 15, Thursday 16, Saturday 18 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday 17 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grand Palais Éphémère,
