At the British Music Awards, the pop star won the "Best International Female Artist" award and the "Best Song" award for her song "Break My Soul" • After her album "Harry's House" won the Grammy for "Best Album" the most", the British star picked up no less than four awards

Harry Styles and Beyoncé are the prominent winners at the Brits ceremony, the British Music Awards, which took place tonight (Saturday) in London.

As every year, the music industry in England celebrated itself and its artists, but also referred to prominent international artists.

The "Breakthrough of the Year" award, given to promising new artists and bands, was awarded to the female duo Wet Leg, who also picked up the "Best British Band" award.

The two defeated in the category worthy competitors such as Arctic Monkeys and the 1975 band.

The latter did not leave the evening empty-handed, as she was awarded the "Alternative Rock Band" award.

She was faced (again) by the Arctic Monkeys.

The Best International Band award was given to Fontaines DC.

The "Best Producer" statuette was awarded to David Guetta.

The "Best International Female Singer" award was given to Beyoncé, the pop star who just recently made history when she broke the Grammy Award winning record.

Queen B competed in the category against names such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Lizo (who appeared at the ceremony and performed a string of songs from her latest album, "Special").

Beyoncé also won the "Best International Song" award for her song "Break My Soul" which appeared on her latest album "Renaissance" which was released last summer.

Beyoncé was not physically present at the ceremony, but recorded a video thank you speech as is customary.

Quite expectedly (but deservedly so), Harry Styles, who received the best album award at the Grammys, left the Brits with four awards: the "Best Pop/R&B Act" statuette, defeating in the category competitors such as Sam Smith, Charlie XCX and Dua Lipa.

The star also won the "Best Artist" award (and thanked his former One Direction bandmates in his speech) and, of course, the Song of the Year award, for his huge hit "As It Was".

In his winning speech in this category, Styles described the song and his latest album "Harry's House" as "the most fun music recording experience" he's had.

The most important award he won in the evening was album of the year - a category he also won at the Grammy ceremony.

This is another stamp of approval for Styles' successful career, which the past year was the most significant and important in his solo career.
