, who recently went on an exploration of the world of sexuality and erotica, took on the role of normalizing the discourse around female masturbation.
In an interview with stellar magazine, the young model said: "There is a worldwide stigma, especially as a woman, about talking about sex, asking for pleasure and what you want and love, and always pleasing the man. I wanted to break that a little."
And she continued, "When I was young, if you were a girl who masturbated, it was rude and disgusting. So girls just masturbate in private, while men talk about it all the time."
Delvin participated in a masturbation seminar and a host of other daring erotic activities - as can be seen from a trailer for her new docu-series "Planet Sex" on the BBC.
The six-part docu-series will explore the different ways in which sexuality is treated around the world, in parallel with the sexual journey of the actress/model herself.
Last September, the model exhibited erratic behavior.
She raised concerns among friends, family and fans about her health after she was filmed at an airport in California looking confused and neglected, and TMZ reported that it was a deadly combination of drug use and a severe mental condition.
Walla!
Celebs exhibit shaky mental behavior twice a week.
Don't worry about her.
