(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 13 - Tehran has released Mohammad Rasoulof, the director who won the Berlin Film Festival with 'There is No Evil', after six months in prison.
The international media reported it, quoting Shargh, a newspaper close to the reform movement.
Rasoulof was arrested in July for criticizing the crackdown on protests in Abadan and was 'recently released', reports Shargh without citing the date.
At the beginning of February, Tehran also released the director Panahi, also arrested in July after going to Evin prison to ask for information about Rasoulof and another arrested director, Mostafa Al-Ahmad.
