It's the decade season of "Connected" and time reminds how it used to be a series that inserted a camera into the lives of unknown and fascinating characters.
Today all the unknowns are in the story, and in order to start the revealing docu-reality they have to be famous from the A-List variety, to peel and fall apart, to transmit authenticity and speak at eye level.
The new season - which is available on HOT VOD and YouTube, and will be broadcast tonight on HOT3 (Monday to Wednesday, 22:00) - stars Orna Banai, Keren Pels, Miki Buganim, Hadar Marks and Uri Sasson.
All of them have medals in their field of work, but they are not successful and beautiful and rich like the young lovers in the most beautiful moments of life - Omer Adam and Yael Shelvia.
But are they really larger than life?

"Connected" claims to show naked and exposed celebs, but it is a show of interests.
When a man wears glasses that he advertises as a presenter, and Shelvay is photographed in a scene for a hair products campaign by Miki Boganim, who also participates in the season, then everything connects and everything is related to business.
The successful couple who defected to Dubai continues to earn us money and fame.
One moment they're expressing frustration when a photo of them was leaked to Guy Pines without their permission;
And a moment later, "Connected" itself uses clips from Pines' shows to update its viewers on what's new in the relationship that the series documents.
One moment they get into their underwear, and a moment later an item on them is leaked on their initiative through the agent or associates.
I mean, the fact that they are talked about - does not necessarily define their importance.
When you remove the cover, it turns out that even A-list celebs can be boring.
In the two episodes sent for review, it is noticeable that the editors put a lot of make-up parts on the couple, directed scenes and added other editing techniques in order to overcome the holes and put together a reliable story that will lead the series.

And so, Shelvia got out of a relationship and immediately rented an apartment in a tower in Tel Aviv, and suddenly flew to spend a holiday with Adam's extended family in Miami.
After half an episode, they are already a sticky couple who don't take their hands off each other, nor do they take pictures on Saturdays and holidays and in intimate moments.
One moment Levia is debating whether to marry the billionaire Brandon Korf and move to live with him in the US or break up and stay in Israel close to her family; and two moments later she moves to Dubai with Omer Adam. When the characters' decision-making makes no sense - the viewer realizes that he is being misled.
Shelvia and Adam are the poster boys of the season, but the casual home photos, the hollow conversations, and the mention of events that happened and were not filmed - leave traces of mystery about their true selves.
Sometimes celebrities are better off staying aloof and mysterious.
