We are "already seeing" the start of a new Russian offensive in Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said so at a press conference.
President Vladimir Putin, he continued, is sending "thousands and thousands more troops", accepting "a very high rate of losses" and thus putting pressure on Kiev.
"What Russia lacks in quality, it tries to make up for in quantity," he says, stressing the urgent need for the West to supply Ukraine with more weapons.
