Sunak, we will do whatever it takes against the spy balloons

(ANSA) - LONDON, FEBRUARY 13 - The British government will do "everything necessary" to protect the United Kingdom from the threat of spy balloons.

This was stated by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, specifying that London is in constant contact with its allies.

"There is an early warning force with Typhoon aircraft, ready to intervene 24 hours a day", added the prime minister.

Sunak's statement comes after the alert of the past few hours over British skies caused, according to the official version, by the sighting of a meteorite trail.
