After whole decades: these are all the pop bands from the 90s that are coming back Israel today

From Mass Club Seven, through Aqua to the Spice Girls - the music stars of the nineties are making serious signs of returning to our lives, and some of them are even still active without us really knowing.

The Discmen can be pulled out of the closet, because another pop band from the 90s is regrouping in its original line-up after almost a decade of silence (and more than 20 years since the release of the last album).

Activate the gray cells and try to remember Bass Club Seven (S Club 7) - a bouncy British septuagenarian that enjoyed reasonable success from the end of the nineties to the first years of the new millennium and released four studio albums, which announced yesterday (Monday) a new concert tour to mark the semi-anniversary of its founding.

Band members Tina Barrett, John Lee, Paul Cattermole, Hannah Spirit, Bradley McIntosh, Joe O'Meara and Rachel Stevens, all in their 40s (with Tina being the oldest, 46) will rock UK stages and Ireland for 11 evenings (with the option to extend of course), starting this October.

"After eight years, it feels great to announce that we are reuniting and performing together again. We are so excited to bring the Ace Club party back to our fans to mark 25 years of activity," said the band's official comeback announcement.

"We can't believe it's been so long! Music and friendship have always been the basis of everything we've done, and we hope everyone can join us for the big celebration," the friends concluded.

Ace Club Seven was founded by Simon Fuller, former manager of the Spice Girls, in 1998.

Among her hits you can find the songs Bring it All Back, S Club Party, Reach, Never Had a Dream Come True and Don't Stop Movin'.

Her albums have sold more than ten million copies worldwide, but apart from Rachel Stevens, who released a pair of successful solo albums over the years, none of the seven managed to really break out independently.

However, demand for tickets on the new tour is expected to be high.

Nineties forever

And if we've already mentioned nostalgia and the nineties, Ace Club Seven is definitely not the only pop band from that period that reunited and reunites these days.

This is actually a real trend, which brings back the fans - and the artists themselves - to one of the most beautiful (and profitable) periods in their lives, so that everyone leaves satisfied.

Whether it is Five (almost a trio) and Aqua, which recently appeared in Israel;

In Blue, who released a sixth studio album last year after a long hiatus;

Shugbabes, who also released a new album three months ago with their original line-up (with old and "lost" recordings, of course);

In 911 which just this week launched a new single with the collaboration of a young Vietnamese singer;

And we haven't even gotten to Take D'It, Westlife, and the Backstreet Boys, who are still running strong as if 30 years hadn't passed - as well as the Spice Girls themselves, who frequently make comeback noises.

Did we miss someone?

We will already look at old Rosh1 sheets and make sure.

Update: Someone urgently call Boizon and Ann Sink and demand a reunion, even though it doesn't look like Ronan Keating and Justin Timberlake need the income to be completed.
