In video, Rihanna's sign language interpreter is the unexpected Super Bowl star

Justina Miles, the sign language interpreter who dubbed Rihanna at the Super Bowl, caused a stir on Sunday. The 20-year-old simultaneously double-crossed the star and launched into some memorable choreography in style.


Rihanna delivered a sumptuous show during the Super Bowl halftime on Sunday February 12, an extraordinary show in front of no less than 72,000 spectators in the stadium and 200 million viewers.

But this concert gave rise to another performance, to say the least unexpected: that of his interpreter in sign language during the television broadcast of the show on the American channel Fox News.

Justina Miles is originally from Philadelphia, studying nursing at HBCU Bowie State University in Maryland.

When asked about her performance, she said, "I appreciate the opportunity to let all deaf people enjoy these songs and not miss out on the full Super Bowl experience."
