(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, FEBRUARY 15 - Last December industrial production in the 19 countries of the Eurozone (which became 20 since 1 January with the entry of Croatia) decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous month and by 1.7 % compared to December 2021.
Eurostat made it known today.
In November 2022, industrial production had recorded a growth of 1.4% over October.
For the EU as a whole, Eurostat data indicate a decrease of 0.4% in December on November and also on December 2021.
For 2022 as a whole, industrial production grew by 0.9% in the Eurozone and by 1.9% in the EU (ANSA).
