After yesterday's meeting with Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, Ramon Menezes has been appointed interim coach of Brazil.
The announcement came today.
Menezes will coach Selecao from the bench in the friendly match against Morocco in Tangier on 25 March.
Menezes has already led the Brazil Under 20 team, dragging them to the success of the South American title, in Colombia.
Meanwhile, the CBF is negotiating the engagement of a permanent coach: the name of Carlo Ancelotti is still in contention.

The new interim coach made 17 appearances in charge of the Under-20 team, winning 11, drawing four and suffering only two defeats.
Having hung up his boots in 2013, Menezes has been working as a coach since 2015: he has led eight clubs, including Vasco de Gama.
