This tour is a journey of
about six hours of walking , where
stops
are made at eight stations
built for the reflection and prayer of the pilgrims.
According to sources from the provincial government, the agreement's main objective is to carry out joint actions to
develop the culture of pilgrimage
in Córdoba and Galicia.
In that Spanish city, where one of the most important Christian pilgrimage routes in the world culminates,
declared a World Heritage Site
by Unesco, Schiaretti highlighted the figure of Brochero: "The
first Argentine saint
who was born, lived and died in the province of Córdoba, and that had as a characteristic in his pastoral and social action, walking on the back of a mule in the highest mountains of Córdoba, doing works, proposing actions for progress and also helping the humblest and most needy".
The Camino de Santiago is one of the most important pilgrimage routes in the world.
"We have come to implement a very important act of fraternity, which is to unite the work and the path of Santiago de Compostela with our priest Brochero, that is to say, unite the
Xacobean culture with the culture of the priest Brochero
", highlighted the governor during the signing held at the International Pilgrim Reception Center.
For his part, Rueda Valenzuela stated: "We are delighted to help you promote something that we are very interested in promoting in the rest of the world, which are pilgrimages
with history, meaning and significance
. Therefore, we are delighted to advise you in everything that is necessary and, of course, listen to them too, because I'm sure they have things to teach us".

Both paths involve
similar experiences
in various ways, such as the fact that they are based on the spirit and encounter through history, culture, nature, interaction with people, and fraternization among pilgrims.
Pilgrims from all over the world travel the Camino de Santiago to reach Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia.
Through bases and criteria established by agreement, both parties will carry out
joint collaborative actions
for the development of pilgrimage cultures between the Camino de Santiago and the Camino del Cura Brochero.
"Disseminating pilgrimage routes, for both provinces, means
exchanging historical and spiritual values
, and promoting fraternization between different societies to encourage peace in the world," said the province of Córdoba in a statement released after the agreement.
