(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 16 - The legislative decree on tax incentive credits, i.e. building bonuses, "is an impact measure that is necessary to block the effects of a wicked policy also used in the electoral campaign and which has produced benefits for some citizens but in the end, each Italian was charged with 2,000 euros each. This is the balance of this experience".
Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said it at the press conference after the CDM.
The minister also explained that the decree "has a twofold objective: to try to solve the problem concerning the category of construction companies due to the enormous mass of stranded tax credits and to secure public finances".
The huge bills were approved "with great responsibility and having in mind the need to do everything possible, especially with regard to the category of construction companies at this time they are experiencing financial difficulty with respect to the possibility of discounting the credits accrued in 2021, 2022 and this first phase of the 2023".
