Lady Gaga confirms that she will have a role in the Joker sequel by revealing the first images of the film, titled 'Joker: Folie à Deux'.
In a post on her Twitter account, the star posted a snap that shows her in an embrace with Joaquin Phoenix, who plays Joker.
Director Todd Phillips, who previously helmed the originating 2019 film as well, also posted the same image on his Instagram page with the caption, "Happy Valentine's Day."
Filming on Warner Bros' Joker sequel is underway in New York and Los Angeles, with the release date set for October 4, 2024. It hasn't been confirmed what role Gaga will play, but some sources say she is expected to play Harley Quinn. a character recently portrayed in several films by Margot Robbie.
