After peeping into the beta version of the app, Meta brings many new features of WhatsApp to all users with an Android smartphone.
Among the features introduced by version 2.23.3.77 are avatars for everyone, following the December preview, and the ability to add captions to shared documents, as well as increasing the character limit for the subject and description of groups.
The maximum length for the subject of a group goes from 25 to 100 characters while that for the description of the group becomes a maximum of 2,048 characters from the previous 512.
Meta now allows subscribers to send up to 100 photos or videos at once, thus increasing the previous limit of 30 multimedia content per single message.
As anticipated in December, the company has brought everyone the creation of a personalized avatar, to be used as a profile photo and in stickers.
The already announced goal of Meta is to create an avatar platform that is compatible and unique among the various apps in the group, from WhatsApp to Messenger and Instagram.
According to some information identified by the expert site Wabetainfo in a beta version of the app, the WhatsApp team is also working to allow users to share photos in their original quality.
At the moment, in fact, when you send a photo to a friend or a group, the app compresses it, lowering resolution and details.
In the future, everyone could decide how to send the file, so as to preserve the quality of certain shots, even after sharing.
