(ANSA) - MUNICH, FEBRUARY 18 - "We have started an important week here. We are fighting on the ground but we also want peace. Not peace at all costs though. None at the cost of the Ukrainians. No more Minsk. No more contact lines. We have since these things don't stop Russia".
Dmytro Kuleba said it in Munich, at a press conference.
"Ukraine will receive the planes. It's a matter of time. We understand that it takes time. And I'm sure Britain will play a part in that," he added, stressing that the important thing is to start training as soon as possible.
"Last year my keyword was weapons. This year my keywords are: speed and sustainability in delivery.
Everything has to arrive in time to be useful," explained the minister. "A year ago I met people who said we couldn't resist.
Believe in us, trust us more.
And we will win.
Nothing is impossible.
There are many examples where relatively small countries versus larger countries.
And we are not small if we have your support," he said. "I don't think this war will become one of those frozen conflicts.
I believe that one side will win and another will lose.
And I believe that Ukraine will defeat Russia", he underlined. (ANSA).
