And it happens again: a passenger ran amok on the plane, took off her upper clothes and was left bare-chested, tried to break into the cockpit and demanded to be allowed to smoke.

During the extraordinary event, 49-year-old Anchelika Moskabitina even bit a steward who tried to take control of her.

This commotion occurred during a domestic flight in Russia of the Aeroflot airline from the city of Stavropol to Moscow.

The Daily Star reports that initially, Muskabitina locked herself in one of the lavatory cabins while the plane was cruising at an altitude of about 11,000 meters, and started smoking.

At one point, after she returned to her seat, the plane was hit by air turbulence.

At that moment she stood up and began to cause a commotion and expose her upper body.

It should be noted that there were children on the flight, but this did not stop her, despite the crew members' demands to cover her body, as seen in the video that recorded the event.

The crew members were joined by several business class passengers to tackle the woman, cover her body and end the rampage.

Later, on the captain's orders, she was handcuffed using plastic handcuffs.

Eyewitnesses said that Moskabitina declared to other passengers that "the fate of all of us is decided", and it is speculated that she was drunk.

In a video posted on social media, one of the flight attendants is heard saying to her, "Ma'am, sit (in your seat) and get dressed. Where are your clothes?"

Later she was asked: "Do you understand that you are violating the rules of conduct on the plane? There are children here, at least respect them."

The passenger responded and said "I respect children. More than that - I love children. I understand that they will take me to a psychiatric hospital or prison... but I want to go to the cockpit."

Later, when attempts were made to dress her, she said: "Please stay away from me. Kill me here, but I will smoke!".

A doctor who was on the flight was asked to monitor her condition until the plane landed in Moscow.

After landing, the Aeroflot airline appealed to government officials to make changes to the laws dealing with passengers who go berserk on flights.

"The passenger ignored repeated warnings from the crew members and tried to break into the cockpit," the airline later stated.
