The Emergency Life Support ship docked in the port of Civitavecchia, carrying 156 shipwrecked survivors rescued during the night and early morning of 16 February.
Among them are two women, three children aged between 7 and 10 and 28 unaccompanied minors.
Before disembarking, the inspection of the Usmaf sanitary ware was carried out on board.
To welcome the migrants at the port, where Red Cross tents have been set up, are the mayor of Civitavecchia, Ernesto Tedesco, and the bishop Gianrico Ruzza, and a delegation of students displaying a banner with the wording 'Welcome'.
