(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 20 - "I can't wait for the match to arrive. Even going to the Bernabeu will be tough. But who cares? It's the Champions League! and this is one of the most important matches in the world".

Jurgen Klopp's word ahead of the Champions League round of 16 match against Real Madrid, a repeat of last year's final in Paris.

"We have to play two super matches to go through, and be at our maximum to have a chance - KJlopp continues -. For Real Madrid it's different, even if they don't play at their best, they still have a chance. This is what makes them special" .

The Reds coach then spoke to his colleague Carlo Ancelotti on the Real bench: "He's one of the most relaxed people you could ever meet. He's so humble and his management is on a different level from all of us. Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world".

Then Klopp reveals that, until last weekend, he had not yet seen last year's final lost 1-0 against the 'Merengues'.

"I understood why he hadn't done it yet - he says -: it was torture.

We played a good game, we could have won it but they scored the decisive goal.

You could see their experience, how little they lose confidence, that's what you can learn from them.

But now with respect to that match we are two different teams and let's see who gets through". And finally, with regard to the physical conditions of Darwin Nunez struggling with a shoulder injury for Klopp "there are chances of seeing him on the pitch". (ANSA).
