El Al recruited Hanan Ben Ari and Assaf Granit for a new marketing move - voila! tourism

El Al is carrying out a branding facelift, and for this purpose recruited an icon who takes inspiration from the silhouette of the window of the plane window, but also a new presenter - Hanan Ben Ari - and a new head chef - Assaf Granit - and Sha

A change in concept, language, branding - in short, a facelift for Al Al - which recruited chef Assaf Granit, musician Hanan Ben Ari and other celebrities to create a new language for the Israeli airline brand.



It was a good year for El Al, like for other airlines in the world, which grew after passengers returned to flying with the decline of the Corona virus.

As part of the company's growth and renewal process, El Al mobilized a new branding language in which to take the oval shape of the airplane window and adapted it as a logo that changes according to destinations, service experience and other icons related to aviation.



At a rather grandiose press conference held today (Monday) at Reading 11 in the Tel Aviv port, which looked like a location that would not be ashamed of a wedding, with catering, a buffet of food and bartenders serving drinks to the sounds of Israeli music, El Al introduced its new main presenter, the musician Hanan Ben Ari, Next to the company's new head chef Assaf Granit, who will lead the culinary field.

El Al also revealed a team of leading ambassadors, including: Noa Kirel, Lior Suchard, Chen Amsalem, Yael Bar Zahar, Eden Harel, Danit Greenberg and two bloggers.

The choice of Hanan was made, among other things, following a study carried out by El Al from which it appears that 84% of the respondents testified that Hanan represents Israeliness and 91% testified that he represents what is good and beautiful in Israelis.

The company's new branding language, as mentioned, centered on a new icon, which takes inspiration from the silhouette of an airplane window, symbolizes, according to the company, the connection between the security at home and the curiosity and adventure of what happens outside, and in the world of aviation it allows the passenger to look out and discover the world outside, and at the same time enjoy the security inside the plane.



According to the company, "The iconic window takes on a life of its own, and with the help of a unique series of illustrations, we discover places, people from all over the world, holidays and events, and even animals. Along with these, the company will also use a new visual language that includes a series of spectacular photos taken by leading photographers Guy Koshi and Rival Fine".

El Al is expected to fly about 6 million passengers in 2023

The company's CEO, Dina Ben-Tal Gannasia, revealed interesting data for the conclusion of 2022 and noted that El Al


currently flies to more than 50 destinations, on approximately 25,000 flights, and that El Al aircraft have been in the air for approximately 115,000 flight hours. El Al's market share On Bentov was about 22% with about 4.2 million passengers.

Ben-Tal Gennasia also stated that in 2019, before the Corona period, the El Al flight carried about 6 million passengers and is expected to fly a similar number in 2023.
