The federal prosecutor's office has brought charges against the suspected IS returnee Kristin L.
The young woman is said to have traveled to Syria in 2015 as an adolescent.
There she married a fighter from the jihadist militia "Islamic State" (IS), ran the household and raised their daughter in line with the IS ideology, as the federal prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe announced.
From Syria, L. is said to have also tried to persuade other women to leave for IS.
The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office accuses the woman before the State Protection Senate of the Thuringian Higher Regional Court in Jena.
She is accused of membership in a terrorist organization abroad, violations of gun laws and aiding and abetting bodily harm.
Language courses and rapid fire rifle
According to the federal prosecutor, the family received monthly payments from IS.
L. took part in faith and language courses, it said.
She is said to have owned an automatic rifle and a shotgun.
In 2019, L. surrendered and was sent to a Kurdish camp.
There she cheered on another inmate when she physically abused an alleged apostate.
L. was arrested by officers from the Federal Police and the Federal Criminal Police Office when she arrived in Frankfurt in October, and she has been in custody since then.
The Higher Regional Court in Jena will now decide whether to admit the charges.
