Police have confirmed missing Nicola Bulley has been found dead in a missing persons case in north-west England.
The body found in the River Wyre the day before was that of the 45-year-old mother of two, Lancashire police said.
Bulley was last seen on January 27th.
In their investigations, the police assume that the woman fell into the river and drowned while walking her dog.
The financial adviser, who frequently documented her walks online, was last seen taking her two daughters to school as usual and then walking her dog by the river near the village of St Michael's on Wyre.
A short time later, her free-roaming dog was discovered.
Her phone, still dialed into a conference, was found on a bench.
The disappearance of the woman and the long search by the police had caused a stir in England.
Bulley's family questioned the suicide or accident hypothesis and feared the woman had been kidnapped.
The police had been criticized for making the missing person's alcoholism public.
