More than four children have been killed or injured a day since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
This is what emerges from the "A heavy toll" report published by Save The Children on the first year of the war. The toll refers only to cases actually verified but could be much higher, underlines the report, recalling that According to UN data, there have been at least 18,657 civilian victims since February 2022: a total of 7,110 dead and 11,547 injured. A great risk for over 2 million children are also mines and unexploded ordnance: "there are still millions explosive remnants of war".
