From Italy "we have received an aid package, which means that the support of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has not changed. Indeed, I thank her and I am waiting for her, I know she is coming".

President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledges that the Italian government's position towards Ukraine is always the same, despite the crisis sparked a week ago by Silvio Berlusconi's words about the Ukrainian leader.

"We have a strong respect for Italy and for the Italian people", declared the president in an interview with Tg1 in view of Meloni's visit to Kiev.

Almost a year after the Russian invasion, Zelensky continues to show his determination and the galvanizing certainty that "the war will not last indefinitely" and that "it will end with our victory, a victory for peace" for which "even future generations of Russians will thank us."

But for now there can be no "compromises" with Moscow, adds the Ukrainian president as he receives international support for his 10-point peace plan.

“We are not afraid,” continues the camouflaged leader, as it was another day of dripping fire on the ground.

An entire family fell victim to a Russian bombing of the village of Burhunka, in the Kherson oblast, killing the mother, father and uncle of a 13-year-old boy who was in turn injured.

They were all at home along with another child who survived the attack when the fire rained down on the village, Ukrainian authorities said.

An eight-year-old boy from another family was also injured, and was hospitalized.

Another day and another balance sheet on the attacks which in the last few hours, according to the update from Kiev, have been registered against nine regions throughout the country.

A man in the city of Vovchansk in the

oblast, was killed after his house was hit, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

And then again in Donetsk, in Lugansk and again in Bakhmut.

Torn apart, the eastern Ukrainian city that has become the symbol of the 'melee' between Kiev and Moscow, resists: Ukrainian forces repelled seven Russian attacks near Bakhmut and killed 40 enemy soldiers, reported the state border service Ukraine on Telegram, quoted by UNIAN.

"Enemy losses were estimated at 40 killed and 37 wounded," he added.

Yet another day of war that seems to repeat itself indefinitely, tragically equal to itself.

But the military leaders in Kiev report a change in tactics by the Russians, particularly evident in the last week and in particular on the use of rockets: if before they launched a massive attack about once every two weeks, now they use rockets with more 'parsimony' but also with greater constancy and regularity.

This was explained by the spokesman of the air force command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, quoted by Ukrinform
