The book will be presented on Thursday 23 February in The Dome room at the Luiss Guido Carli University: live streaming starting at 3 pm on ANSA.it, on the Youtube channel and on the State Police website.

in addition to being the title of the book,
is also the name of the platform,
structured
into seven sections to browse through with over 500 images:
there are the big news, etched in everyone's memory, and the daily commitment , narrated with iconic shots, photo galleries, videos, short texts and ANSA takes.

in the video introduction to the project, "we realized that these photos tell not only our work but the historical passages and changes of our country. We wanted this heritage to be read and interpreted also from an outside eye. ANSA has systematically given this publication and integrated this heritage with many beautiful and interesting shots".
It starts from the commitment against the mafias, the big investigations, the massacres, the captures of excellent fugitives;
then the fight against terrorism and how the police forces are structured to react to the strategy of tension and the most recent challenges.
Ample space is dedicated to the specialties, the backbone of the Police, which has adapted to the changing society.
Then there is a section on women, who in 60 years have gained space and climbed positions.
The fifth chapter is dedicated to the safety of citizens, the mission of every policeman.
The one following the big events and the relationship with the "square", with also a focus on the G8 in Genoa in 2001 and what has changed since then.
Finally, the last chapter, on the value of sport, is a review of the great Italian champions of yesterday and today.
The platform is designed to be used by tablets, to appreciate the images that scroll on the screen, but also for smartphones.
