Syrian Science Olympiad students won four medals, two silver and two bronze, in the (InfoCap 2023) International Informatics Championship organized by Romania (remotely), during the period between 2 and 5 February, with the participation of 206 students distributed to 54 teams from 11 countries from around the world. the world.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the two silver medals were won by the member of the National Informatics Team, Farhan Hajj Younes, from the second secondary grade, the First Outstanding School in Homs, and the student Zine El Abidine Zammar from the second secondary grade, Al-Mashreq School in Aleppo, while the two bronze medals were won. Each of the members of the National Informatics Team, student Hadi Suleiman from the first grade of secondary school, Al-Waqadi School in Damascus, and Abdullah Abdullah from the first grade of secondary school, Al-Kumait Beledi School in Lattakia.
Participation in this tournament is the beginning of the participation of the Syrian International Science Olympiad for the 2023 season, and it included two rounds, each lasting four hours.
