The signing of the agreement between the two Agencies took place virtually, in the presence - at the VNA headquarters - of the Italian Ambassador in Hanoi Antonio Alessandro, who said he was very satisfied with the collaboration, also for what the the agreement entails for relations between the two countries: "Today's signing fills a void in bilateral relations between Italy and Vietnam, precisely in view of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of their inception, which include events, activities, visits and opportunities. The The Italian Embassy in Hanoi offers its support wherever it is useful".



In a video message, the Vietnamese Ambassador in Rome Duong Hai Hung said: "The agreement between VNA and ANSA is an important step forward not only between the two companies but also for the relations between the two countries in the news and media, especially in the context of the activities for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam, as well as to promote a comprehensive development of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Italy".



   The diplomat stressed that VNA and ANSA, by strengthening the collaboration and exchange of information, will also promote mutual appreciation of the citizens of the two countries and will provide information "on possible new opportunities since there is still great untapped potential".

"The Vietnamese embassy will continue to work closely with the VNA office in Rome to support the collaboration with ANSA and the Italian partners and advance the cooperation relationship between our two countries in general and in the area of ​​news and of the media in particular,” concluded Ambassador Duong Hai Hung.



    Even the general manager of VNA, Vu Viet Trang, expressed satisfaction with the new agreement with ANSA, recalling that in 2010 a collaboration was signed for the first time between the two press agencies, which "created a platform for the exchange news officer, strengthening relations and exchanges to help promote ties between Hanoi and Rome.In the current environment, where the world is facing epidemics, natural disasters, conflicts, as well as the spread of fake news, all news agencies press must rethink their role and launch resource challenges to respond to the growing demand for information".
