Traffic on Highway 2 and Provincial Route 11 is intense
due to the return of tourists from different cities on the Atlantic Coast, traffic sources reported.
As reported by the concessionaire Aubasa, between 8 and 9 a.m. there were some delays at the La Huella toll booth, on provincial route No. 11, where
2,121 vehicles per hour passed through;
while in the opposite direction there were 648.
Meanwhile, on Highway 2, at the same time, 642 vehicles per hour were counted at the Maipú toll, against 189 in the direction of the Atlantic coast;
while at the Samborombón toll the passage of 1,586 cars
in the direction of the City of Buenos Aires
was registered , and 1,021 in the direction of Dolores and Mar del Plata.
Precisely to facilitate the tourist exodus, the restriction on truck circulation for today is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:59 p.m. on the Buenos Aires La Plata highway, highway 2, and provincial routes 11, 36, 56, 63, and 74 in the direction of the Buenos aires city.

In the extra long weekend for the Carnival holidays,
three million tourists
traveled through the country , which marked a historical record since the holiday was reinstated, according to reports from the Ministry of Tourism.

100% occupancy was reached in destinations on the Atlantic Coast
