The Excellence and Creativity Authority continues to accept applications for registration in the Scientific Olympiad for young and young people for the year 2023, in the specializations of “mathematics, biology, physics and chemistry”, until the second of next March.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the authority stated that participation in the Olympiad is open to male and female students in the seventh and eighth grades of basic education for the “young” category, as well as for male and female students in the fifth and sixth grades of basic education for the “junior” category, and from all schools in the governorates by choosing one of them. the aforementioned academic disciplines.
The authority pointed out that the Scientific Olympiad for young people, which is held by the Science Olympiad Department, returns this year with a new start, by providing the opportunity to participate for students of the fifth and sixth grades of basic education in the “junior” category, after the Olympiad was limited during the past two years to students of the seventh and eighth grades of education. basic.
The authority stated that the Young Science Olympiad succeeded in the past two years by discovering a group of specialized scientific excellence talents from the seventh and eighth grade students, who proved their ability to excel and compete with students of secondary education, and excelled by securing their place in the membership of the national teams of the Syrian Science Olympiad.
The authority indicated that it is possible to register through the platform for the Scientific Olympiad, where the required personal data is entered, and upon completion of registration, the student will receive a message containing the registration number and the chosen major, and the student must save the username and password to take the test through them later.
