The shocking episode occurred minutes after 8:00 p.m. this Tuesday, in a property on Primero de Mayo street at 3600, between Cándido Pujato and the Zorrilla de San Martín passage, in the city of Santa FE.
The noise alerted the entire neighborhood
and several neighbors called 911.
In a few minutes, police officers and members of the Fire Department arrived at the scene to search for victims inside the house.
Among the rubble, they rescued two people

an operator from the Metrogas company was working due to a gas leak.
The deceased neighbor was identified as Roberto Daniel Fratini, 76, whose body was found lifeless with burns, in the back of one of the collapsed houses, located at Moran 4903, according to police sources.
At 11:23 on Saturday, Metrogas received a call from residents of the area due to a
strong smell of gas in the area
, and that when the assigned operator opened the cover of the meter that was in the place and at that moment the explosion occurred.
Police sources reported that the fire in the house was concentrated on the first floor, where there was also a partial collapse.
The fire in the vehicles was immediately brought under control, they added.
The 34-year-old operator was admitted to the Zubizarreta hospital "in serious condition," according to the head of the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME) Alberto Crescenti.
