Collaboration agreement between ANSA and the Mauritanian agency AMI

, present at the signing of the agreement via video link, underlined how the agreement represents a great step forward between the two countries: "This is a crucial moment in the history of relations between Mauritania and Italy. Since I took office I have worked on the development of relations between our two countries; we consider Mauritania an important partner in the region, also due to the fundamental role it plays in the stability of the area, and strong cooperation is needed between the two press agencies, ANSA and AMI, also in

the of the collaboration between Rome and Nouakchott," he said.


    "Information is vital and the agreement signed today promotes relations between Mauritania and Italy. As an Embassy we are ready to support this cooperation which we deem very important", commented the Ambassador of Mauritania in Italy Zeineb Ely Salem , present at the signing in the ANSA headquarters in Rome.

underlined that the agreement is the first of its kind between the Agence Mauritanienne d'information and ANSA: "This will allow both news agencies to benefit from each other's expertise in their respective fields of work; thanks to this agreement , both sides will be able to benefit from the information services provided by each partner in their respective countries and in the other geographical areas covered by their journalists".

The director general then added that the agreement allows AMI and ANSA to "develop projects to support companies and institutions of both countries in their communication activities.

The agreement is in line with the close collaboration and partnerships existing between Mauritania and Italy, both bilaterally and within the framework of cooperation between our country and the areas in which Italy plays a leading role, such as the European Union, the 5+5 Dialogue, the Sahel Alliance".


    "I am happy to sign this agreement through which we will start the exchange of news on Italy and Mauritania which will contribute to the improvement of mutual understanding of the two countries" , said the CEO of ANSA,

Stefano De Alessandri,

who added: "I consider this agreement the important starting point for an effective collaboration which I hope will soon materialize also in communication projects in support of companies and institutions of the two countries".
