(ANSA) - LONDON, FEBRUARY 23 - The war in Ukraine could last another year, according to British Defense Minister Ben Wallace, interviewed by Lbc radio.
According to Wallace, more than 188,000 Russian soldiers have died or been injured as a result of Vladimir Putin's "catastrophic miscalculation".
And he added: "I think Russia has shown complete contempt not only for the lives of Ukrainians but also for its own soldiers."
And speaking of the Kremlin chief's intentions, he said: "When someone has crossed the line and thinks it is right to do so even against his own people, managing the army with a meat grinder, I think he will not stop".
